A Message from Program Co-Chairs

It is our great honor to invite you to the 2027 Photonics North Conference, at the Rogers Centre, Ottawa from June 8th to 11th, 2027.

Photonics enabled advanced sensing presents unprecedented and wide-ranging opportunities to boost productivity and economic development. Many industry sectors including space exploration and national defense have benefited from the application of advanced photonics sensors. The theme of the 2027 event will be Photonics for Advanced Sensing. There will be multiple special sessions and programs dedicated to this topic. In addition, the 2027 event will continue with our 9 technical tracks covering the full spectrum of photonics. We will continue hosting our high profile plenary speakers to share their vision and offering top quality tutorial sessions to provide more insights in selected topics. We will have a series of strong industry-focused events and showcase the photonics technology innovations and entrepreneurship. Our exhibition will provide opportunities for companies and organizations to demonstrate their products and capabilities, connect with clients, and meet future employees.

We are very grateful to Prof. Antonio Calà Lesina and Prof. Pablo Bianucci for their commitment as Program Co-Chairs. We would also like to thank all of our organizing committee co-chairs, members, program track co-chairs, partners, supporters, and many dedicated volunteers.

We look forward to welcoming you to Ottawa!
